What are the ME team up to this Easter?

Today on the blog the Mushens Entertainment team discuss what we’re watching, reading and, most importantly, eating over the Easter break.

Juliet…

Watching: Law & Order SVU. I have recently become obsessed with this police procedural/court room drama. With more guest stars than you can shake a stick at, cases which weave between the ludicrous and the thought-provoking and Ice-T with a ponytail I find it extremely addictive.

Reading: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. I’ve been on a real romance kick recently and this zingy novel about two workplace rivals who discover just how thin the line between love and hate is is brilliant - sparky dialogue and scorching sexual tension.

Eating: Biscoff cheesecake. I will also be partaking if traditional roast lamb thanks to my mum and dad’s hospitality.

Liza…

Watching: I have finished watching Daisy Jones & the Six on Amazon and have my eye on starting The Power during this long weekend.

Reading: I am just finishing up reading Babel by R.F. Kuang before starting The Story of Art Without Men by Katy Hessel.

Eating: I will be eating everything from chocolate eggs to scotch eggs this weekend!

Kiya…

Watching: Succession. I’m very behind (no spoilers, please) – partly because I am limiting myself to one episode per night to savour it. I love and hate them all! Except Cousin Greg. I love Cousin Greg.

Reading: Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – again, VERY behind. I want to read the book before watching the show (which I’ve heard nothing but great things about!) so stole my sister’s copy last time I was at home. I’m also excited to read Icebreaker by Hannah Grace… again, stolen from my 19-year-old sister.

Eating: A Cadbury Crème Egg McFlurry. Yes, I chose it for last year’s blog post, but it will never NOT be my Easter treat of choice. It’s just so good!

Catriona…

Watching: I recently finished Happy Valley and it’s given me the crime drama bug, so I’ve now started watching Line of Duty for the first time. Let’s see what all the fuss is about!

Reading: After listening to Kiya talk about how much she enjoyed Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, I would love to get round to reading it this Easter. I want something gripping that holds my attention and gives me all the feels..

Eating: Lots and lots of mini eggs. Also really looking forward to my veggie roast!
