Maggie Harcourt
Maggie’s first book, The Last Summer of Us, is a moving contemporary YA novel about a 16-year old girl the summer after her mother dies. Usborne pre-empted rights and published it in spring 2015 as their lead YA title.
Her second book, Unconventional, is set behind the scenes of a series of fan conventions and was published by Usborne in February 2017, while her most recent book, Theatrical, following a teenage intern working as part of the crew of a new theatre production, was published (also by Usborne) in June 2018.
She has appeared at the Hay and Edinburgh book festivals, YALC, MCM Comic-con and the Bath Children’s Literature festival to talk about her writing and currently lives in Bath, although she was born and grew up in west Wales.
