Anna Mazzola’s THE CLOCKWORK GIRL longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award

Anna Mazzola’s The Clockwork Girl has been longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award. The Award, now in its 28th year, is presented annually for a novel written in English or translated into English, and aims to promote excellence in world literature and is solely sponsored by Dublin City Council, and administered by Dublin City Libraries. Nominations are submitted by libraries in major cities throughout the world.

The Clockwork Girl was nominated for the award by Tampere City Library, Finland, who said of the novel:

A thoroughly immersive read, captivating and utterly thrilling. It’s easy for the reader to ensconce oneself in its masterfully crafted, self-contained universe. The historical setting is commendably subtle, suggested rather than imposed upon the reader. Simply superb!

The Shortlist up to a maximum of 10 titles are chosen by the judges and will be announced in March 2023.
