Hannah Kaner’s GODKILLER is the Waterstones Science Fiction & Fantasy Book of the Month, featuring in their January newsletter!
The Bookseller named Saara El-Arifi’s FAEBOUND as one of BookTok’s most anticipated reads of 2024 (out on 18th January). The article reads, ‘Publishing this month, Faebound marks the start of a new romantasy series following elven warrior Yeeran and her sister Lettle. Brittany said: “I love Saara. I think the Ending Fire trilogy is absolutely incredible so far and definitely some of the best adult fantasy I’ve ever read, so I’m really excited to dip into a new world by the same author.’
The January issue of SFX Magazine gave FAEBOUND a four star rating, concluding that “This modern fairy tale feels destined to become a fae-vourite.”

Harper’s Bazaar are publishing an article called ‘A New Leaf: Five debut novels that explore the many aspects of female experience’ and included Hester Musson’s THE BEHOLDERS.
For Red Magazine, Sarra Manning recommends MISS AUSTEN INVESTIGATES as one of her top books for January. She writes: “A note-perfect crime caper that has much of the wit and empathy of an Austen novel.”
Zoe West at Woman and Home Magazine has called MISS AUSTEN INVESTIGATES “a brilliant debut that does Jane justice” in their February Book Club article.
Crime Monthly has included MISS AUSTEN INVESTIGATES in their ‘Top 5 Killer Thrillers’. They call Jessica’s debut “delicious”.
THE ACTOR by Chris MacDonald has been featured in The Times as one of their best crime fiction for January!
The Independent also includes THE ACTOR as one of their best books for January, calling it “twisty, compulsive fun”.
The Daily Mail have rounded up their most exciting fiction for 2024 and included Stacey Halls’ THE HOUSEHOLD. They write: “The winning combination of Charles Dickens, damaged women, a quiet country house in a secret location (offering refuge for prostitutes and petty thieves), a millionairess benefactor and her dangerous stalker who’s just been released from prison, make for an excellent, atmospheric slice of historical fiction from the best-selling Halls.”
Dead Good Books included WHEN WE WERE SILENT by Fiona McPhillips in their list of top 8 debuts of 2024.
