Books in the Media

The past week saw lots of our amazing authors in the media...

Anna Mazzola’s THE HOUSE OF WHISPERS was mentioned in the Financial Times’ Crime round-up.

Jane Hennigan was interviewed by SciFiNow about her new dystopian thriller, MOTHS! In the piece Jane speaks about the inspiration for her novel, world-building and future writing plans.

In Kirkus’ review of Jennifer Saint’s ATALANTA, they write:"the ending is so beautiful it makes every moment leading up to it worth the wait. In her acknowledgements, Saint says she hopes the novel will make readers fall as in love with Atalanta as she did—and her quest has been fulfilled."

Sophie Haydock has written an essay entitled ‘When the Muses Step Out of the Shadows: Reading the Women Who Enabled Greatness’ for LitHub. She writes about her fascination with novels that shine a light on women often overshadowed by their male partners and explains how this was the inspiration for her novel, THE FLAMES, which is about the previously untold stories of the four women who inspired the controversial and charismatic young Austrian artist Egon Schiele.

Brooklyn Digest reviewed THE FLAMES: “Haydock brings this unforgettable world to incandescent light as she reimagines the intertwining lives of these women, four wild, blazing hearts in their quest to be known.”

ROOTLESS had another rave review in Heat magazine’s best new reads, labelling Krystle Zara Appiah’s debut “powerful and emotional”.

The British Backlist has described ROOTLESS as ‘A devastating story that forces its reader to really ask themselves what they deem most important’ in their ‘Recommended Reads’ round-up for March.
