The House of Fortune (out today in paperback!) is the sequel to the worldwide bestseller, The Miniaturist, and was described by Madeley as “totally compelling, a fascinating story set in a fascinating society".

Claire Douglas’ newest thriller, The Woman Who Lied, was also praised by Richard who said Claire had “put a brilliant twist on this psychological oddity". The Woman Who Lied is the second of Claire’s works to be picked for the book club.
