DK Pre-empt Turns Cookbook World Upside Down
DK RED will publish Upside Down Cooking: Layer, Bake, Flip: Brand New Way to Cook in One Tray by Dominic Franks, known on Instagram as @dominthekitchen. Editorial director Cara Armstrong pre-empted world rights in a good two-book deal from Liza DeBlock of Mushens Entertainment. The first book will be out in hardback on 5th June in the UK, and 17th June in the US.
Franks is known for his ‘upside down’ recipes, starting with his upside down caramelised onion tart, which went viral on social media. Upside Down Cooking features 85 one-pan recipes, including mini puff pizzas, chicken pot pies, and banana toffee tarts.
