Congratulations to Richard Osman as his debut novel, The Thursday Murder Club, becomes the bestselling novel of 2020 after only three months on sale. The Thursday Murder Club has also become the 7th bestselling fiction hardback since records began. He joins the ranks of Dan Brown, JK Rowling and Paula Hawkins whose books round out the top 6. He also continues to reign as the biggest selling debut fiction author ever, excluding those previously published under different names.

The Thursday Murder Club has now sold over 610,000 copies across all formats in the UK alone, and rights have sold in 39 territories worldwide.
