The Chemical Detective shortlisted by CrimeFest

Fiona Erskine’s The Chemical Detective has been shortlisted by CrimeFest for the Specsaver’s Debut Novel Award. The award will be given to a crime novel by debut author first published in the British Isles in 2019.

The Chemical Detective follows Dr. Jaq Silver who becomes framed for murder after she tries to expose a shipment of explosives. She must unravel the mystery of who’s behind the bombs before time runs out.
